How do I control my privacy on Enchanted Village?

Go to your Profile control panel. Note the small key icons located before "Actions", "General Info", "Description", "Rate Profile", "Profile Comments", and perhaps in other fields as well. Clicking on these keys will open a Privacy Control box which will enable you to edit who can view that particular section of your Profile. Your privacy options are: Default, Me Only, Public, Members, Friends.

Additional Privacy Settings can be found under the Dashboard icon in the top menu or by otherwise navigating to your Account Home and clicking Privacy Settings. Here you can edit who can view your blogs, photos, etc. and who can contact you via the Village Messenger service.

Can I customize my profile?

Yes. Click on Profile and in the Actions box you will see a Customize button. Click to open your Profile Customizer where you can upload background images and change the color and size of fonts and borders.

Can I create a Village Profile for my coven, grove, circle, group, organization, etc?

Absolutely. We don't have a Profile category for groups due to the possible variations in a community like this. For Profile Type simply select "Single" or "Couple" as it best describes you as the authorized representative/s of your particular group. Hint: Selecting "Couple" will open up two sets of fields for each person to fill out so select "Single" to keep it simple.

Describe your group or organization in the Description box using as many searchable keywords as possible.

Enter Tags that apply to your group or organization separated by commas.

Can I create a Village Profile for my business or to promote my music or art?

Yes, as long as your business or music fits in with the Village theme and online environment and you aren't hawking snake oil. Merchants, authors, musicians, poets, artists, etc. are all welcome here. Feel free to post a link to your business web site on your Village Profile.

We reserve the right to suspend or delete any Profile that we don't feel belongs here or is misleading or fraudulent in any way.

Can I upload my music to promote on my Profile?

Yes, as long as it is your music that you own the rights to. Please don't use the Village resources to store other people's music.

Can I upload video to my Profile?

Yes, as long as it is your video that you own the rights to. File extensions accepted are: avi, flv, mpg, wmv, mp4, m4v, mov, divx and xvid.

You can also easily embed YouTube video links in your Profile. Go to Add Videos > Choose uploader > Embed. Simply paste the url of the YouTube video in the box provided. (Example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_AANZvYn5uk).

Does the Village offer a matchmaking service?

Yes. If you wish to use the site's automated Matchmaking service check the appropriate box or boxes under "Looking For" in your Profile. This should allow you to receive cupid mail notifications of recently joined Profile matches of 85% or more.

If you do not wish to use the automated Matchmaking service, leave "Looking For" blank. It's an optional field.

You can also perform a manual Match Search at any time by clicking on People>Match located on the top menu.
